Amber Weeks of DanceArt Studio hosts a blood drive every year because of her own experience of needing several blood transfusions after the birth of her daughter, Bella.
Three years ago, Amber Weeks almost died after giving birth to her daughter, Bella. But with the help of amazing doctors from Rex Hospital and 3 blood transfusions she was given another chance at life….more time to enjoy all the people she loves, including her husband, family and her dance families. Most importantly she was given the chance to be a mom.
Because of her ordeal, Weeks hosts a blood drive every year at DanceArt Studio. This year you can participate on Tuesday, September 18 from 3 – 7 p.m. DanceArt Studio is located at 82 DanceArt Drive in Garner.
