Elizabeth Thomson Davis, age 100 of Lillington, after a lengthy illness, was accepted into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, August 29, 2012. She was part-owner of Thomson-Davis Insurance Agency and Realty, and a member of the N.C. Association of Realtors. She is preceded in death by her husband, James F. Davis.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her daughter; Cramer Johnson and son-in-law Hill Johnson of Houston, Texas; son, Collett Davis and daughter-in-law Alice Davis of Lillington; one grandson, Eric Johnson of Sherman, Texas.
Funeral service was conducted on Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Lillington United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Elton Hendricks officiating. Burial was in Cross Creek Cemetery, Fayetteville. The family received friends Tuesday at O’Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lillington United Methodist Church, PO Box 506, Lillington, NC 27546.
