The Hidden Treasures Antique Event and Open House hosted by Windsor Point on Saturday, Aug. 11, was a great success. Many people brought their treasures. The cost to evaluate each item brought in was $5. The $500 raised went to Alzheimer’s NC to go toward research in Alzheimer’s disease.

J.C. Knowles, antique expert and local historian, had a wealth of information to share with the guests. Some were pleasantly surprised with J.C’s evaluations. Others found that their objects held more sentimental value than financial. No matter what, everyone left with a smile at the opportunity to show off what meant most to them.

In addition to J.C Knowles Windsor Point also hosted WPTF’s Weekend Gardener LIVE! Several listeners stopped by, bringing in samples of what they had questions about. Windsor Point will be hosting WPTF’s Weekend Gardener Live again in October.
