At Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church last Saturday, the senior citizens of the church were honored with a fellowship luncheon at the church fellowship building. Every one present enjoyed the occasion and the delicious food.

The members and friends of Chalybeate Springs Church also enjoyed their annual Fall Festival on Saturday. Game playing was enjoyed along with hot dogs and a variety of other finger foods and drinks. A good time was had by all.

Bethlehem A.M.E. Church pastor Rev. Linda McLean and members wish to thank all the churches, pastors and friends that supported us in rendering your services for special occasions whenever you were given a special invitation. We appreciate your cooperation. May God continue to richly bless you.

Ms. Annie Bullock was honored by her niece, Ms. Helen Adams of Raleigh, and granddaughter, Mrs. Linda Sue Harris, also of Raleigh, last Wednesday celebrating her birthday. A beautiful arrangement of red roses and baby breath and other gifts were presented to the honoree. The women took Ms. Annie Bullock out for dinner at the K&S Restaurant in Cary. Also, Mr. Everette L. McKoy of Chalybeate Springs joined the party.

The Cameron family honored her, celebrating her 98th birthday while there. A birthday cake and other beautiful and useful gifts and lovely cards were given with wishes for many more happy returns.
