A Night for Neddie Live Concert Benefit, weenie roast and love basket auction will be held on Oct. 19, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Kipling Community Building. Cost is $10 admission per person.

Neddie Chapman is in serious need of several surgical procedures related to a rupture in her stomach and wall cancerous nodules in her lungs. A benefit concert has been organized to raise money so she can get the medical attention that she needs. Other local churches have been asked to help support this effort. The Youth Group at Kipling Church is sponsoring this Love Basket auction on Oct. 19.

Kipling United Methodist Church Pastor and members are very busy preparing for a joyous fellowship with members, former members and friends on Sunday, Oct. 14, in the 150th Church Homecoming Celebration. Guest speaker for the 11 a.m. worship service will be Rev. Eddie Hill of Holden Beach, former pastor.

We at Bethlehem A.M.E. Zion Church invite you to support our fundraiser, a 10x13 color family portrait for $10. Deadline to order is Oct. 12. Picture viewing will be Sunday, Oct. 14, 1 to 6 p.m., at the church. Call 919-557-9631 or 919-552-2091.
