Families are invited to learn the art of orienteering at Lake Crabtree Park. Learn all the basics of orienteering and use new skills on a treasure hunt around the park. Registration is required. “Mill as Muse” Community Art and Photo Contests
Historic Yates Mill County Park is accepting artwork for the Seventh Annual “Mill As Muse” exhibit. Contest themes will focus on Yates Mill, park flora and fauna and people doing park activities. All entries are due before 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 3. Winners will be announced at the Feb. 9 exhibit reception. Prizes will be awarded. Call 919-856-6675 for more information.
