Arrests

Travis Albert Brennen, 21, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested June 3 on obtaining property by false pretense and forgery of instrument charges.

Michael Maurice Hackney, 27, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested June 3 on a failure to appear charge.

Scott Brendan Watts, 31, of Cary was arrested June 5 on a driving while a license was revoked charge.

Brandon Joseph Peptis, 32, of Willow Spring was arrested June 5 on a driving while impaired charge.

An arrest was made in a June 6 incident reported at Food Lion off N. Main St. allegedly involving larceny and shoplifting.

Nicole Leveta Holder, 36, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested June 8 on a failure to appear charge.

Edward ODonald Richardson, 64, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested June 9 on driving while a license was revoked and taking or possessing undersize red drum charges.

Brooks Allen Hickman, 51, of Apex was arrested June 9 on a driving while impaired charge.

Shamari Morris, 29, of Spring Lake was arrested June 9 on a failure to appear charge.

Bobby Edward Ross, 50, of Fuquay-Varina was arrested June 9 on an assault on a female charge.

Theft

Larceny of a hedger and blower from a trailer was reported June 4 at the Broad St. Market parking area. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.

Larceny of lottery tickets was reported June 4 off N. Main St. The case is under further investigation.

Larceny of a license plate from a motor vehicle was reported June 5 off S. Main St. The case is inactive.

Larceny of a bicycle was reported June 6 at Walmart off E. Broad St. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.

Larceny was reported June 8 off W. Ransom St. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.

Larceny of a wallet from a counter was reported June 9 at a gas station off N. Judd Pkwy. The case was closed; prosecution was declined.

Other crimes

Property damage to a vehicle was reported June 4 off Lakestone Commons. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.

Property damage to a vehicle was reported June 6 off S. Philwood Ct. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.

Using or uttering forgery by creating counterfeit checks and attempting to utter them was reported June 7 off Old Honeycutt Rd. The case was closed; leads were exhausted.
