The North Carolina Soccer Coaches Association named two seniors from Fuquay Varina High School to its 2012 Women’s Region Teams on June 18.
Forwards Ellie Barnes and Hannah Rembach will represent Region 6-4A along with 29 other female players from the region.
Barnes and Rembach graduated from FVHS on June 9. Barnes will attend Mount Olive College in Mount Olive, NC, and play for the Trojans in fall 2012. Rembach will attend Urbana University in Urbana, Ohio, and play for the Blue Knights in the fall.
The 4A region is represented by FVHS, Panther Creek High School, Holly Springs High School, Middle Creek High School, Athens Drive High School, Cary High School, Apex High School, Green Hope High School and East Chapel Hill High School.
