Fuquay-Varina - Virginia Robbins Hinson, 93, went to be with her Lord Friday, September 14, 2012. The funeral services were held on Monday, September 17, at 3 p.m. at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 2317 Highway 42, Willow Spring. Burial followed at Wake Chapel Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hinson was born in Raleigh to the late George D. Robbins and Eva Robbins Wilson. She was also predeceased by her stepfather, Frank Wilson; and brother, J.D. Robbins.

She was a retired private duty nurse. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed greatly by many who loved her.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin McMillan and husband, Robert of Raleigh; two grandchildren, Jason D. McMillan and wife Sarah, and Matthew R. McMillan and fiancé, Kayla Garner all of Raleigh; great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Elizabeth McMillan; sister-in-law, Doris Robbins of Raleigh; and four nephews.

The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, September, 16 at Thomas Funeral Home, 401 N Ennis St., Fuquay-Varina.
