Joseph Michael Lewis, 3-month-old infant of Shannie Moore and Michael Lewis, passed away Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at UNC Hospital Chapel Hill.

Joseph was preceded in death by paternal grandfather Clifton Lewis, paternal great grandfather Joe Welch and paternal great grandmother Mildred Lewis.

The family received friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15 at Spring Hill United Methodist Church. A service followed at 2 p.m. at the church with Rev. Terry Williams officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Joseph is survived by his parents, Shannie Moore and Michael Lewis; sister, Summer Lewis; paternal grandparents, Laura Beck and Jimmy Lucas; maternal grandparents, Brenda and Charles Taylor; paternal grandmother Diane Beck; maternal grandparents, Ruby Mangum and Norman Bolton; and maternal great great grandmother, Jessie Bolton.
