Second Annual Customer Appreciation Day helps Make A Wish

On Saturday, May 5, Complete Financial Solutions’ owner Kenneth Stephenson, in combination with Jonathan Holland’s State Farm Agency and Insurance Matters all located in the 7629 Purfoy Road Business complex in Fuquay-Varina, celebrated their second annual Customer Appreciation Day event. Their customer’s enthusiasm was evident with well over 200 in attendance. The band “50-50” performed and guests had a chance to check out the cars supplied by the Fuquay Cruisers. More than 15 lucky ticket holders won door prizes. There was fine southern BBQ provided by “Bill’s” BBQ out of Wilson, a staple Customer Appreciation Day treat.

Complete Financial Solutions (CFS) kicked-off the event with a combined fund raising aspect partnering with the local chapter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. Jerry Peters, Director of Community Engagement, Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Eastern North Carolina spoke at the event. It is CFS hopes to raise $7,500 in donations from their website www.CompleteFinancialSolutions.com CFS has an online donation link area on their website and in addition is offering to make a $1 donation for every “Like” on their Facebook page.

The Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club Public Issues Community Service Program collected items for the SPCA of Wake County from the club members. The group made a delivery Jan. 28 that included eight bottles of bleach, 10 boxes of dog treats, one large container of small dog treats, various small packages of dog treats, paper towels, seven cans of canned dog food, Kitten Chow and a $25 donation.  Darci VanderSlik accepted the donations along with one of the puppies for adoption.
