Trunk or treat event, Willow Spring

White Memorial Presbyterian Church wants to treat you today from 6 to 8 p.m. at 1459 White Memorial Church Road in Willow Spring. We’ll treat you to decorated trunks filled with treats, crafts and refreshments.

Angier Community Trick or Treat Night

This event is open to all children 12 years of age and under. Join community members at the Angier Depot tonight (Oct. 31) from 6 – 7 p.m. Please contact the Angier Public Library at 919-639-4413 if you have any questions. The Angier Police Department has set the hours of 6 - 8:00 for Halloween Trick or Treaters. Adults are asked to please be mindful of small children and have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Clayton Fear Farm

Clayton Fear Farm Daytime activities are family fun for everyone and are not haunted. Attractions include hay rides, a pumpkin patch, corn maze and a House of Dreams. Tickets cost $7 for the Corn Maze or $10 all-inclusive (does not include a pumpkin) and they are open all day today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Haunted Scream Park will be open and tickets cost $12 for a single attraction, $25 for an all-inclusive ticket. Attractions include the Fear Farm Academy, The Black Hole, Fear Forest Haunted Hayride and the Slaughterhouse. For more information, call 919-553-0016

Harvested Farm Nightmares, Garner

Looking for thrills, chills and things that go bump in the night? Then you have to come see what Ken’s Korny Corn Maze has in store. It’s not just a haunted corn maze anymore…thrills include a haunted house, trails and corn field for $17. Trick-or-Treat the Trails, Garner

Wondering where to take the kids for a fun and safe place to trick-or-treat this Halloween? Put on your costumes for Trick-or-Treat the Trails at White Deer Park (2400 Aversboro Road) on today from 3 to 6 p.m. Trick-or-treat your way around the park trails and collect ghoulish treats from local community organizations and businesses. This event is free to the public. An adult must accompany children at all times, and pets are not permitted. For more information, go to garnernc.gov.

Women’s Club shares the ‘puppy’ love

The Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club Public Issues Community Service Program collected items for the SPCA of Wake County from the club members. The group made a delivery Jan. 28 that included eight bottles of bleach, 10 boxes of dog treats, one large container of small dog treats, various small packages of dog treats, paper towels, seven cans of canned dog food, Kitten Chow and a $25 donation.  Darci VanderSlik accepted the donations along with one of the puppies for adoption.
