The 12U Fuquay Predators realized their dream last week of playing in the birthplace of baseball at the Cooperstown Dreams Sport Park in Cooperstown, N.Y. For the past year, the team has held various fundraisers such as yard sales, bake sales, raffles and BBQ’s to raise the $10,000 entry fee required to play.
Last week, that dream became a reality as the Predators had the opportunity to play with 104 other teams from all over the United States and Canada. It was an incredible experience, one they won’t forget for some time to come.
