Fuquay-Varina Garden Club will host an Afternoon in the Gardens of Anne Smith, 7213 Kennebec Road, Willow Springs, on Saturday, June 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. A rain date is set for Sunday, June 10, from 1 to 4 p.m.. There will be croquet and bocce games, as well as live entertainment throughout the afternoon.
Refreshments will include finger sandwiches, salads, desserts, fruit and beverages. There will also be a Tea Auction, a silent auction of gift baskets.
Guests are invited to wear garden party dress (optional), including flowery dresses, big hats and lacy gloves.
The event is a fund raiser for the Garden Club. Tickets are $10. This is an adult function.
