A Cash Mob will descend on one local business today. Join the Mob. Visit the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association's office at 3:45 p.m. to find out what local business will be mobbed.
A Cash Mob is a new movement aimed at supporting local businesses and rebuilding communities. A Cash Mob is a Flash Mob, but instead of singing, dancing or rioting, Cash Mobbers join together and each spends $20 at a local business.
So far, Fuquay-Varina Downtown has sponsored seven highly successful and thoroughly enjoyable Cash Mobs in the downtown shopping districts in Fuquay-Varina. Mobbers will meet at the FVDA office, located at 108 Raleigh St., today at 3:45 p.m. and go to a local store to support it, meet each others and have fun.
