Neighbors celebrate fall, friendship, fun
Fuquay Varina Independent

Members of the Oaks of Sippihaw neighborhood submitted the following: "Saturday was the Second Annual Oaks of Sippihaw Picnic. The God given beautiful fall day started with a community yard sale and ended with a picnic supper of grilled hamburgers and brats. Everyone pitched in with a delicious side dish and dessert. These neighbors being who they are, caring and thoughtful, made sure that some of those who were unable to attend due to health reasons, were taken a plate for their supper. More than 85 residents attended and the beginning's of a lasting friendships took root - which is why we have the picnic in the first place."
