The Wake County Library System named Judy Packer on March 26 to the head librarian position at the Fuquay-Varina Community Library. Read and Feed program improves skills, strengthens families
For 12 weeks, smiling, excited children (from Kindergarten through fifth grade), their families and a group of caring, dedicated volunteers come together at Willow Springs Elementary School. The attending students are those deemed to be in need of extra support by their teachers. They come every Thursday from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. for individual attention to improve their reading skills.
