The response was shock and disappointment as news set in Feb. 15 that Elliots Pharmacy at the corner of Main and Depot Streets would close its doors for good on March 30. The Hollemans mailed out letters to current prescription customers that files and open supplies of drugs will be merged with Realo Discount Drugs on Broad Street. An egg-cellent time
The Town of Fuquay-Varina held the annual Easter Egg Hunt on March 23 at 10 a.m. at South Park. Hundreds of children hunted for 13,000 eggs. The kids were split up by age group, 4 and younger, 5 to 7 years old and 8 to 10 years old. And while the sun didn’t want to come out and play much on the chilly morning, the Easter Bunny was ready to visit with a long line of visitors.
