The check was a donation of the proceeds from the October Zombie Run to the FVHS Technology in the classroom initiative. More than 950 students earned bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral or professional degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill during the Dec. 16 commencement ceremony.
