It’s the end of an era for Fuquay-Varina Community Library members. After 33 years in the Wake County Library System, head librarian Cindy McConnell will retire at the end of March. Fuquay-Varina Police continue their investigation of a shooting that took place around 9:50 p.m. at Bay Tree apartments on Tuesday, March 5.
