While early release days at Fuquay-Varina Middle School usually are filled with celebrations and not much instruction, the students got a different lesson last Friday. The American Legion, Post 116, located on Johnson Pond Road in Fuquay-Varina is benefitting from three Eagle Scout projects. The Eagles-to-be are installing a trail from the post to the amphitheater and pond area that will make it easier for the members and guests of the post to travel between the two destinations.
