Mechanical error at pump station causes wastewater spill
On March 11, approximately 3,500 gallons of sewage overflowed from a manhole adjacent to 1228 Old Honeycutt Road. The impacted area was washed down and any solids removed and disposed of properly. It has been determined that the overflow was caused by an electrical/mechanical failure of the pump station equipment which has been repaired and is properly working at this time. Rabies clinic to be offered in Willow Spring

On March 2, things were hopping at Shoppes on Main as the Fuquay-Varina Woman’s Club held its annual fashion show. It was a sellout event with great fashion and food.
