Team Fuquay-Varina kicks off Relay for Life fundraising effort
The South Wake Relay for Life will be held on May 18 and 19 at Holly Grove Middle School. Town staff, Fuquay-Varina Downtown and the Fuquay-Varina Chamber have joined together to form Team Fuquay-Varina to raise funds for the Relay for Life and walk at the event. Local students reach new academic heights at Western Carolina
Western Carolina University has announced its graduation and Dean’s List for fall semester 2012. The university in December conferred degrees on 638 students who completed their studies during the fall semester. Volunteer docents needed at State Capitol
RALEIGH - The North Carolina State Capitol in downtown Raleigh is seeking volunteers interested in training as docents. Docents give tours to student and adult groups who travel to Raleigh from all over the state and country, and more volunteers are needed.
