Police arrested Richard Brandon Gregory, 28, Tuesday night, April 30. He has been charged with homicide in connection to the death of James Melvin Jolly, 64. Gregory is now in the Wake County jail awaiting his first appearance in court. According to reports, Fuquay-Varina police are investigating a shooting that occurred this afternoon. Reports said one man is dead as a result of the shooting. James Melvin Jolly was found dead in his home at 2:20 p.m. today. His home is located at 108 Coley Farm Road.
