The show will feature the artist embellishing his giclee prints on canvas with artist paint. "This is a very special treat for our art collectors," says Rick Mullen, owner of Ashley's Art Gallery. "They get to watch and talk with a world-class artist for about fifteen minutes, while he adds more color to their fine art print. These limited editions are produced with highest quality inks and canvases and are the next best thing to owning the very expensive original painting."
Another highlight of the event is the debut of the artist's new coffee table art book, "The Historical Art of John Paul Strain". A fascinating 180 page book that showcases of all Mr. Strains civil war paintings, along with some of his historical World War II and Native American images.
