Wake County will conduct community meetings on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Apex Town Hall, 73 Hunter St., Apex; and on Thursday, September 29, 2011, from 4 to 7 p.m., at Holly Springs Town Hall, 128 S. Main St., Holly Springs. The meetings are to discuss future development opportunities at the South Wake Landfill property.
Both meetings will be conducted in an open house format, and community members are encouraged to attend at any time during the three-hour period.
Consultants will provide citizens with information regarding the project’s schedule and planning processes, landfill operations, and additional opportunities for community participation.
