A framed “Quiet Encounter” print by Mark Keathley is the grand door prize for the Ashley’s Art Gallery Oct. 29 open house.
Ashley’s Art Gallery at 701 N. Main Street in Fuquay-Varina will hold an open house on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 7 to 8:30 p.m., featuring an internet broadcast of popular artist Mark Keathly painting and talking about his art. There will be snacks and door prizes. The grand door prize will be a framed “Quiet Encounter” paper print, at $399 value. The grand prize winner will be entered in a raffle with 12 other Mark Keathly authorized galleries for a chance to win an enhanced canvas giclee.
Artist Mark Keathly’s “Quiet Encounter” has been selected for the National Wild Turkey Federation’s 2011 core art program. The Keathly prints will raise funds via auctions held at more than 2,200 banquets throughout North America in 2011. “Quiet Encounter” features two white-tailed deer drinking from a mountain stream with wild turkeys in the background .
