Military Missions In Action (MMIA) also set up a Fallen Soldier Memorial in Centennial Park. Elizabeth Obrien, Miss UNC Pembroke's Miss Outstanding Teen is shown at the Falling Soldier Memorial. Elizabeth will be in the Miss NC pageant in June and MMIA's Foot Lockers for soldiers is her platform. Elizabeth's father just returned for Afghanistan and is now stationed in Germany.
