The Teens As Parents program was selected by the Harnett County Sheriffs department to take part in “Shop with a Sheriff.” The Sheriff’s office received donated Wal-mart gift cards from various citizens that knew Deputy Dwayne McGuire. Two TAP clients shopped with Deputy Dominic Alvarado, Deputy Dwayne McGuire and Sergeant Aaron Meredith for school supplies for the entire program which will be given out at the Back to School Bash on Aug. 21. Items bought include book bags, pens, pencils, notebooks, note pads, markers, colored pencils, hand sanitizer, loose leaf paper, erasers and lots of other supplies!
