Mrs. Murttie D. Bradshaw, 79, of Dunn died September 13, 2012 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. She was born in Sampson County, the daughter of the late Charlie and Sophronia Tyndall Daniel.
Mrs. Bradshaw was a homemaker and a loving, caring mother and grandmother. She attended Trinity Lakeshore Pentecostal Holiness Church in Dunn. Mrs. Bradshaw was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Bradshaw; brother, Maldon Daniel and sisters, Nada Long, Iona Honeycutt and Rodena Brown.
Funeral service was held Sunday, September 16, at O’Quinn-Peebles Chapel in Lillington with Pastor Chris Brown officiating. Burial followed in Harnett Memorial Park in Lillington. The family received friends at the funeral home Sunday.
She is survived by a son, Roy Bradshaw and wife Paulette of Lillington; daughter, Diane Rogers and husband Little Joe of Dunn; daughter, Carrie Williams of Dunn; nine grandchildren, Shannon Phillips, Melissa Barefoot, Faith Evans, Gerard Williams, Joyce Bowen, Robert Williams, Paul Bradshaw, Jimmy “J.L.” West, Mary (DeCorte)Bradshaw; thirteen great-grandchildren, Zachary Barefoot, Sierra Bowen, Griffin Williams, Blake Barefoot, Harley Williams, Brandon West, Jalin Sills, Robert Williams, Jr., Madison Williams, Zoe Phillips, Mia Sills, Ryley Bradshaw, Zane Phillips; three sisters, Ereva Willis of Hope Mills, Mazonia Willis of Wallace, Nancy Hardison of Godwin, two brothers, Charlie V. Daniel of Wallace and Dexton Daniel of Fayetteville.
