Parents, would you like a night out on your own, confident that your younger children will be well cared for in safe, enjoyable surroundings? Do you want to get a start on Christmas shopping without the prying eyes and innocent questions of your small companions?
Contact White Memorial Presbyterian Church in Willow Spring. The church family is offering a free parents’ night out child care service from 5:30 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7.
While you have dinner, your children receive a kid-style dinner of their own. While you take in an early movie or do some shopping, the kids get a chance to make Christmas cookies, play games, do crafts and have fun, supervised by a set of moms and grandmoms, teenagers and other helpers from the church. Children from infants to fifth graders are welcome. All you need to do is fill out a registration form with contact information and other details like allergies, names of people cleared to pick up the children, etc. You can get a form either by calling the church office at 919-639-9973 or by going to the church website, www.wmpcwillowspring.org.
The program is offered by the church as a free service to the community in an ongoing effort to strengthen families and enhance learning and fellowship opportunities for children in a safe, Christian environment. The church is located at 1459 White Memorial Church Road in Willow Spring, between Hwy 210 and Mt. Pleasant Road.
