Marc Steven Hance, 41, of Fuquay-Varina went to be with his heavenly family, including his loving Grandmom and Granddad on November 1, 2012. He is survived by his parents, Don and Barb Hance of Fuquay-Varina; brothers, Tracy Hance and Jason and wife Laura Hance of Fuquay-Varina; nephew, (son of Jason and Laura) Jace Hance of Fuquay-Varina; loving puppy, Starr; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Marc graduated from Wilson High School in Wilson Township, Pa; and worked at Patrick Air Force Base in Florida in lawn maintenance for the Commander in Chief. He was a former employee of Rick Hendrick Chevrolet, as well as John Heister Chevrolet, and later became President of Mirror Detail, Inc., an automotive detail company, with his brother Tracy. Marc enjoyed music, building and racing RC cars with his dad, NASCAR and vintage cars. He took pride in caring for his mom’s Kona, Dad’s GT and his beloved car, “The Immigrant.”
He will be sorely missed by his family, friends and customers; especially by his loving mom who he had a cup of tea waiting for every evening when she came home from work, waiting to watch “Leave It to Beaver” in their sun room.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 10 at 2 p.m. at Williford Funeral Home.
