Curves’ main goal is to help women lose weight and live healthy lifestyles. This regularly includes giving to the community.

Curves has been in Fuquay-Varina for 15 years and for eight years at the current location. In that time, Curves members have donated thousands of pounds of food items to the local food bank and pet supplies to the SPCA, created a walking team for the Making Strides Breast Cancer awareness campaign and have given Christmas gifts to the residents of Senter Nursing Home.

Gifts range from snack bags to lap blankets. Also included are toiletry items and handmade items like crocheted scarves and shawls. Socks and Christmas decorations also help make the season bright.

Curves is grateful for its success in a difficult economy, honors the community’s seniors and appreciates its generous members.
