The Lady Mustangs of Middle Creek held off Fuquay-Varina on Jan. 18 on Bengal territory. The Lady Bengals fell 52-44, bringing their season record to 1-14.

However, the junior varsity team slipped past the Mustangs with a 46-43 win.

The Lady Bengals take to the court tonight at Lee County at 5:30 p.m. for the varsity game. On Friday, the team heads to Cary for a 5:30 p.m. junior varsity game and a 7 p.m. tipoff for the varsity girls.
