Cash Mobs is a new movement aimed at supporting local businesses and rebuilding communities. A Cash Mob is a Flash Mob, but instead of singing, dancing or rioting, Cash Mobbers join together and each spends $20 at a local business.

Fuquay-Varina Downtown has sponsored six highly successful and thoroughly enjoyable Cash Mobs in the downtown shopping districts in Fuquay-Varina. Meet at the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association office, located at 108 Raleigh St. in the Fuquay district, this Saturday. The Cash Mob location will be announced at 3 p.m. and then the mob will go to a local store to support it, meet each other and have fun.
