Fuquay-Varina Police Officer David Brown has been promoted to Corporal and recently received his Intermediate Certificate from the N.C. Department of Justice, Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Division.
Cpl. Brown is currently working toward an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice at Wayne Community College. Brown, who is married with two children, is originally from Clinton, N.C., and moved to Fuquay-Varina in 2008.
Brown said, “I love living and working in Fuquay-Varina because of the numerous opportunities to grow.”
