The contest is open to amateur artists in divisions from kindergarten through adult. Prizes will be awarded to first place winners in each category that meet eligibility requirements.
The categories include: crafts, sewing, photography, graphics, sculpture, literature, and visual arts. Information about submitting artwork is available at all the local schools or by contacting Susan DiAngelo (567-9276 or sdiangelo@gmail.com).
All entries must be at the Cultural Center by noon on January 23rd and the judging will take place between 12 and 1. After the judging has been completed, the entries will be on display for public viewing at the Cultural Center from 2-8 p.m. Refreshments provided by local businesses will be served during the Arts Festival.
Everyone is invited and encouraged to come to the Arts Festival to view the varied pieces of artwork created by the talented young people and adults in our area. Admission is free and the artwork is always worth the trip.
