August Leigh Tilley and Joshua Michael Dinkins of Charlotte are engaged to be married on Saturday, June 26, 2010. The ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. at Shady Wagon Farms, New Hill.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs Joseph O. Tilley of Fuquay-Varina. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Ray Miller, and the late Frances Haswell Miller, formerly of Garner; Mrs. Reba Stewart Tilley, and the late Victor Otis Tilley of Fuquay-Varina. August graduated from Wake Christian in 2003 and she is a 2008 graduate of UNC Charlotte. She is a special needs teacher with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System.

Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Dinkins of Yadkinville. He is a graduate of Forbush HS and the NASCAR Technical Insti-tute (NTI). Josh is currently a Manager with GPH Automotive.
