Boy Scouts give to the troops

Boy Scout Troop #75 support MMIA by volunteering with MMIA to set-up a water station for the "Run the Quay 5k" event on Saturday, June 5. Later that day Boy Scout Troop #75 will be having there Annual BBQ Fundraiser from 11:00am - 6:00 pm at Sunset Plaza by Fidelity Bank (in front of Roses department store).

Troop #75 will be collecting items for Military Missions in Action "Fill the Footlocker" Program. All items collected will be donated to MMIA for there care pakages being shipped to our troops serving in the field in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Some of the items being collected are:

Bug wipes/ Sprays

Baby Wipes

Individual drink mixes

Sun block/suntan lotion/aloe gels

Chap Stick/lip balm

Plastic water bottles

All black sunglasses

Trail Mix

Beef Jerkey

Financial donations are also greatly appreciated to help offset the cost of shipping. All proceeds will benefit Military Missions in Action (MMIA), a nonprofit organization serving the injured men and women of the Armed Forces. All donations are tax-deductible.
