As I have stressed in past columns, one of the best ways to save money is to live simply. Clutter comes with a price tag.

A lot of times when you have clutter you don’t know what you have and you buy more. However, there are other reasons why it is important to live simply.

It allows me to live with less stress. When I see piles of things in my home that need to be cleaned, put away or completed, I find that I become extremely stressed out. However, with less stuff I have less things to clean, fewer items to put away and fewer things to worry about.

And with less stuff, I can make sure everything has its own place. I find that it easier to keep clean and that I don’t stress out when people come to the door. It also saves me time because I know where things are and every place has a home. I don’t have to spend hours searching for them.

When I live with less stuff, I find that I can become more efficient. With less stuff, I don’t have a lot of distractions and I can concentrate on the task at hand.
