Our heartfelt sympathy is to the family of Mr. Robert L. Dewar of LaGrange, N.C., who died on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013. A funeral service was held Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the United Methodist Church in LaGrange. Burial was at a cemetery in LaGrange.

Our deepest sympathy is to the family of Ms. Ruth “Nezzie” Kearse of Fayetteville Street in Fuquay-Varina. The funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time and will be announced at a later date by Trice Funeral Home.

On Sunday, March 10 at 3 p.m. Bethlehem African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church’s pastor, Rev. Linda McLean, and members cordially invite the public to come and share in a missionary service sponsored by the missionary ladies of the church. The guest speaker will be the pastor, Rev. Keith Wooten, and congregation of Rogers Chapel CME Church in Fuquay-Varina. Our missionary theme is “Continuing Our Journey Through Mission Education.” We are inviting the missionaries, pastors and congregations of our surrounding churches to come and share with us in this great service. All ladies in the processional will be dressed in white.
