On March 15, there will be a Chicken Pastry Supper plate sale in the Kipling Community Building from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Plates are $7. The United Methodist Women are sponsoring the event. The public is cordially welcome to come out and enjoy a delicious meal and support this event.
The service at Bethlehem A.M.E. Zion Church for 3 p.m. on March 10 was canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date.
The Bethlehem A.M.E. Zion Church pastor, Rev. Linda McLean, and congregation cordially welcome the public to worship with them weekly for Wednesday Bible Study at 7 p.m., Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and Sunday morning worship at 11 a.m.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Smith spent the weekend of March 2 with their daughter, Laurie, and her husband, Mr. David Prez of Trinity, N.C. While there, Mrs. Prez was given a party celebrating her 50th birthday. Family and friends were present to wish her many more happy returns.
