Alvis Thomas Williford, 81, of Fuquay-Varina, went to be with his Lord and Savior July 4, 2012. Alvis was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Cora Williford; and his wife, Reba Griffin Williford.
He is survived by his children, Jeanette Knox and husband Wallace (Wally) of Dunn, NC; Tom Williford and wife Linda of Fuquay-Varina; and Pastor Tim Williford and wife Sharon of Fuquay-Varina; sisters, Lois King of Benson; and Gladys Harper of Fuquay-Varina; seven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren.
A visitation was held Sunday, July 8, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Williford Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Full Gospel Tabernacle, 8624 Bells Lake Road, Apex, NC 27539.
