Mary Upchurch Stidham, 82, resident of Oak Hill Living Center in Angier, passed away July 20, 2012 at the Hospice House of Wake County.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Stidham and grandson Bryan Edward Watson. Mary is survived by her daughter Mary M. Watson (Robert E.) of Carolina Beach, her sister Betty Creech (Levon) of Fuquay-Varina and her brother Roger Upchurch (Doris) of Raleigh. Her granddaughters Dana W. Mann (Charles A.) of Raleigh and Laura W. Nowell (Brian) of Morehead City and her great grandchildren Bryan E. and Camden W. Mann, Sandlin E. and Addison F. Nowell.
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 22, at Kennebec Baptist Church, 9808 Kennebec Church Road, Angier. Visitation starting prior to the service at 1:30 p.m. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
