Fuquay-Varina – Loving husband, father and friend, Najib “Jimmy” Arthur Saad, 54, passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 after a long-fought battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Micki Saad; daughter, Brittany Saad, and son, Jacob Saad, of the home; mother, Juanita Saad, sister, Monza Saad Rowe and brother, Joseph Saad, Jr., all of Greenville, NC.
Jimmy was a native of Greenville, NC. He worked for many years at Static Control Components in Sanford, NC. A gentle giant, Jimmy loved hunting and working on cars with his son, Jacob, and tending to the many animals small and large, rescued by his daughter, Brittany. He was an avid fly fisherman – always in search of that perfect rainbow. We’re sure he’s already enjoying the big streams in heaven.
A memorial celebration of Jimmy’s life was held Sunday, September 2, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Windy Ridge Clubhouse in Greenville, NC.
The family would like to express their extreme gratitude to Dr. Peter Voorhees and John Strater at UNC Cancer Hospital for giving all they had to try to extend his time with us. In lieu of flowers, a donation account has been set up at State Employees Credit Union to assist with medical bills under Najib “Jimmy” Arthur Saad. Any donations would be greatly appreciated by the family.
