Donald E. Rogers , 68 of Lillington died Friday, September 7, 2012 at Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford. A native of Harnett County, he was the son of the late Edd Earl and Mildred Andrews Rogers and was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Rogers.
Mr. Rogers was formerly employed with Static Control in Sanford.
Funeral service was conducted on Monday, Sept. 10, at O’Quinn-Peebles Chapel. Burial was in the Rogers Family Cemetery. The family received friends Sunday at O’Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home.
Mr. Rogers is survived by two sons, Tony Earl Rogers and wife Katrina of Sanford, Donald Phillip Rogers and wife Ellen of Okatie, S.C.; sister, Debbie Rogers Hart of Lillington; three grandchildren, Matthew Earl Rogers, Tonia Danielle Rogers, and Justin Phillip Rogers; two great-grandchildren.
