Ms. Norma J. Monroe Campbell, 60, of Fuquay-Varina and formerly of Angier, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Lillington First Missionary Baptist Church in Lillington. Apostle Elijah Forte and Pastor Sheral Raines officiated. Family received friends at the home of Ms. Campbell and at the home of her sister, Helen McLaughlin, in Lillington. A visitation was held for an hour prior to the funeral service.
Ms. Campbell is survived by sisters Karen Monroe and Pamela Monroe, both of the home, sister and brother-in-law Helen and James McLaughlin of Lillington, brother and sister-in-law James Monroe, Jr., and Joyce of Fuquay-Varina, brother Jeffery of Fuquay-Varina, and Monty Monroe of Florida.
